Martin joined the Oloowere Foundation in 2023 while struggling both academically and financially. At the time, continuing school consistently was uncertain, and his future felt increasingly difficult to navigate.
Not long after joining the program, Martin experienced another devastating loss when his father passed away in 2024, leaving him fully dependent on the support of relatives and the opportunities available through school sponsorship.
Despite these challenges, Martin continued pushing forward.
Today, Martin is a Legacy Scholar and full boarding student pursuing his education with renewed determination. He dreams of becoming a chef and hopes to one day build a stable future through his education and hard work.
His journey is a reminder that when students are given stability, encouragement, and opportunity, hope can begin to grow again.
